What Fixlens is
Fixlens: GPS Map Camera is an Android app that prints the GPS coordinates, address, date, time and a map onto a photo as you take it, and also saves the location in the photo's EXIF data. It is made for surveyors, contractors, site engineers, solar installers, field staff and anyone else who needs to show where and when a site photo was taken.
How it is paid for
The app is free and shows no ads. Fixlens Pro is an optional one-time in-app purchase through Google Play. It adds your company logo to the stamp and lets you create PDF site reports. There is no subscription. See the pricing section for details.
What Fixlens does not do
- It does not certify or verify photos. It prints what your phone reports.
- It is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any government department, scheme or authority.
- It does not upload your photos. They stay on your phone. Read the privacy policy.
Who makes it
Fixlens is developed by TechNatch Labs, a business based in India. The app and this website are updated by the same small team, and the features described here are checked against the shipped app before they are published.
