1. Agreement
These terms apply to the Fixlens: GPS Map Camera app and to fixlens.in, both provided by TechNatch Labs, India ("we", "us"). By installing the app or using the website you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. Google Play's terms also apply to downloads and purchases made through Google Play.
2. What Fixlens does, and what it does not
Fixlens adds the location, date and time reported by your phone, along with an address, map and any details you type, onto your photos. It is a documentation tool.
- Accuracy depends on your phone. GPS accuracy varies with the device, signal, buildings and weather. Addresses and maps come from third-party services and can be wrong or out of date.
- Fixlens does not certify photos. We do not verify, notarise or guarantee any photo. Whether a photo is accepted for any purpose is decided by the authority, bank, court or client receiving it.
- No government affiliation. Fixlens is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any government department, scheme or authority. Where a scheme requires its own app or portal, use that for official submissions.
3. Free features and Fixlens Pro
The app is free to download and use, and shows no ads. Fixlens Pro is an optional one-time in-app purchase through Google Play that adds your company logo on stamps and PDF site reports. It is not a subscription and does not renew.
- Prices include applicable taxes. The price shown in Google Play at checkout applies.
- Pro is linked to the Google account used to buy it. Use "Restore purchases" in the app on a new phone with the same account.
- Payments and refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policy. For help, email us.
- We may improve, change or retire features over time. If we ever remove a Pro feature you paid for, we will offer a reasonable alternative or help you get a refund through Google Play.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Fixlens to:
- misrepresent the place or time a photo was taken, for example by spoofing your location or editing a stamp to mislead someone;
- break any law, including laws on privacy, trespass and photographing restricted or prohibited places;
- photograph people in ways that violate their privacy or dignity;
- copy, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app, except as the law allows.
You are responsible for the photos you take and how you use them.
5. Your content
Your photos, notes and logos belong to you. They stay on your phone. You confirm that you have the right to use any logo you add to your stamps.
6. Our content
The Fixlens name, logo, app and website are owned by TechNatch Labs. Photos and illustrations on this website are for illustration only. Google Play and Android are trademarks of Google LLC; other names belong to their owners and are used only to describe compatibility or use cases.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Fixlens is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that the app will be error-free or that location, address, map or weather data will be accurate, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as a rejected claim, application or payment, arising from use of the app. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Fixlens Pro. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other laws that cannot be excluded.
8. Changes and termination
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and continued use means you accept the new terms. You can stop using Fixlens at any time by uninstalling it.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts of competent jurisdiction in India.
