Verification visit photos

For field investigators, valuers and agents who need each photo to show where and when the visit happened.

In short
  • Shoot the street, the front and the house number
  • Add the case reference as a note
  • Photograph people and interiors only with consent

Many lenders and agencies ask for photos through their own app or portal. Follow their process for submissions. Fixlens is independent and is useful for your own records and for clients who accept stamped photos.

A photo set that speaks for itself

  1. Street view. The approach road with a landmark, so the location is clear even without the stamp.
  2. Front of the property. The full building with the gate or entrance.
  3. House or door number. A clear close-up of the number plate or name board.
  4. Inside, if permitted. Only with the occupant's consent, and only what the case needs.
  5. Surroundings. Neighbouring buildings or the plot boundary for valuation cases.

Make the stamp work for you

  • Use the Standard or Detailed template for coordinates, address, date and time.
  • Add the case or file reference as a note so photos match the right file.
  • With Fixlens Pro, add your agency logo and send a PDF report of the visit.

Respect privacy

  • Ask before photographing people, and avoid capturing documents or screens you do not need.
  • Share photos only with the people the case requires.
  • Delete photos from your phone when your organisation's retention period ends.

A stamped photo records what your phone reported at the time. The lender or agency decides how to use it in their process.
